These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the live. mobile application, website, livestreaming services, virtual currency, gifts, creator features, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
live. is operated by IGO Technologies ("live.", "we", "us", or "our").
By creating an account, accessing, or using live., you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, you must not use live..
1. Eligibility
live. is intended for adults.
You must meet the minimum age required to use live. in your country or territory and must satisfy any age-verification or age-assurance process we require.
Where live. is configured as an adults-only service, you must be at least 18 years old to create or use an account.
You may not create an account using false age information or assist another person in bypassing the live. app's age restrictions.
We may require additional age verification where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, satisfy app-store requirements, or protect the Service.
2. Geographic Availability
live. is currently intended to be available only to users located in:
- United States;
- United Kingdom; and
- South Africa.
We may restrict or disable access from other territories. Availability may change at any time.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity occurring through your account.
You must provide accurate information and keep your information reasonably up to date.
You must not:
- impersonate another person;
- create an account using another person's identity;
- create accounts for fraudulent purposes;
- evade a live. suspension or ban;
- sell, transfer, or rent your account;
- use automated systems to manipulate live.;
- attempt to compromise another user's account; or
- interfere with the security or operation of live..
You must immediately notify live. if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Livestreaming
live. allows users to broadcast live audio and video content to other users.
You are solely responsible for the content of your livestream.
You must comply with these Terms, the live. Community Guidelines, applicable law, and the rights of other people.
live. does not guarantee that livestreams will be uninterrupted or that every prohibited item will be detected immediately.
Because livestreams occur in real time, moderation actions may occur during or after a broadcast.
5. Driving While Livestreaming
live. does not prohibit a user from livestreaming while operating a vehicle where such activity is lawful.
However, drivers must comply with all applicable road-traffic, mobile-device, distracted-driving and safety laws.
A driver must not use live. in a manner that requires unlawful handheld phone use, unsafe interaction with the device, or behavior that creates an unreasonable risk to the driver, passengers, pedestrians, or other road users.
live. strictly prohibits:
- driving while impaired by alcohol;
- driving while impaired by drugs;
- encouraging another person to drive while impaired;
- deliberately engaging in dangerous or reckless driving for livestream content;
- dangerous driving challenges;
- deliberately causing or attempting to cause an accident; or
- encouraging viewers to participate in dangerous driving.
A passenger may use live. while travelling in a vehicle provided that the activity is lawful and safe.
live. may suspend or terminate an account where livestream activity creates a serious safety risk.
6. Alcohol, Smoking and Vaping
live. permits lawful adult consumption or use of alcohol, tobacco and legally permitted vaping products in livestreams, subject to applicable law and these Terms.
Users must be of the legally applicable minimum age in their jurisdiction.
Users must not:
- encourage minors to consume alcohol, tobacco or vaping products;
- sell or distribute regulated substances through live. without lawful authorization;
- encourage excessive or dangerous alcohol consumption;
- encourage impaired driving;
- encourage dangerous substance-related challenges;
- promote illegal drugs;
- facilitate illegal drug transactions; or
- use live. to facilitate unlawful sales of regulated products.
live. may remove content or restrict accounts where alcohol, tobacco or vaping content becomes dangerous, unlawful, targeted at minors, or otherwise violates our Community Guidelines or applicable law.
7. Prohibited Content and Conduct
You may not use live. to create, broadcast, upload, transmit, request, promote, facilitate, or distribute:
Sexual Content
- nudity;
- pornography;
- sexual acts;
- explicit sexual activity;
- sexual solicitation;
- sexual exploitation;
- prostitution or trafficking;
- sexualized content involving minors;
- grooming;
- sexual requests involving minors; or
- attempts to evade our sexual-content rules.
Child Safety
Any sexual exploitation, grooming, sexual solicitation, or sexual content involving minors is strictly prohibited.
live. may immediately suspend or terminate accounts and may preserve or disclose information where required or permitted by law.
Violence and Dangerous Conduct
- credible threats;
- intentional serious violence;
- torture;
- animal abuse;
- dangerous challenges;
- encouragement of suicide or self-harm;
- reckless behavior likely to cause serious injury;
- dangerous driving;
- drunk or drug-impaired driving;
- threats to physically harm another person; or
- instructions intended to facilitate serious violent wrongdoing.
Illegal Activity
live. may not be used to facilitate:
- drug trafficking;
- human trafficking;
- exploitation;
- fraud;
- scams;
- theft;
- money laundering;
- unlawful weapons transactions;
- criminal conspiracies; or
- other unlawful activities.
Harassment
You may not:
- threaten users;
- stalk users;
- repeatedly harass users;
- dox users;
- expose private information;
- encourage targeted harassment;
- impersonate users for malicious purposes; or
- organize harassment campaigns.
Hate and Discrimination
Content that seriously promotes violence, dehumanization, or targeted abuse against protected groups may be removed.
8. User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of content you create, subject to the rights and licenses necessary for live. to operate the Service.
By submitting or broadcasting content through live., you grant live. a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, transmit, technically process, display, and distribute that content as necessary to operate, secure, moderate, promote, and improve the Service.
This license does not transfer ownership of your underlying content to live..
You represent that you have the necessary rights to content you broadcast.
9. Copyright and Third-Party Content
You must not broadcast copyrighted music, films, television programs, sporting events, or other protected material unless you have the necessary rights or permission.
live. may remove or restrict content following a valid copyright complaint.
live. may maintain a repeat-infringer policy and may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly infringe intellectual-property rights.
10. Reporting and Moderation
live. provides tools for users to report livestreams, accounts, comments, messages, and other content.
Reports may be reviewed using automated systems, human moderators, or both.
live. may:
- remove content;
- terminate livestreams;
- restrict livestreaming;
- restrict commenting;
- suspend accounts;
- permanently terminate accounts;
- restrict monetization;
- remove fraudulent virtual currency or gifts;
- preserve evidence;
- restrict access to particular features; or
- take other reasonable action.
We may take action without prior notice when necessary to protect users, comply with law, protect live., or prevent serious abuse.
11. Appeals
Where available, users may appeal certain moderation decisions through our designated appeal process.
Appeals should explain why the user believes the decision was incorrect.

live. may consider the original content, relevant evidence, account history, applicable rules, and other relevant circumstances.
12. Blocking
Users may block other users where the functionality is available.
A blocked user may be prevented from interacting with, messaging, commenting on, or otherwise engaging with the blocking user, subject to technical limitations.
Creators may also remove or restrict viewers from their livestreams where those controls are available.
13. Privacy
Your use of live. is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information live. collects, why we collect it, how it is used, who it may be shared with, retention practices, security measures, and applicable privacy rights.
14. Law Enforcement and Safety
live. may cooperate with law enforcement, regulators, courts, emergency services, or other authorized parties where required or permitted by applicable law.
We may preserve information where reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect users, comply with legal obligations, or establish or defend legal claims.
15. Virtual Currency and Gifts
Where live. offers virtual coins, gifts, diamonds, creator rewards, or similar features, additional Virtual Currency and Creator Terms apply.
Virtual items are digital functionality within live. and do not constitute bank deposits, securities, or ownership interests in live..
live. may restrict, reverse, or remove transactions associated with fraud, chargebacks, abuse, unauthorized purchases, or violations of these Terms.
16. Creator Earnings
Where live. allows creators to earn money or rewards, creators may be required to satisfy identity, age, tax, payment, fraud-prevention, and other verification requirements.
live. may withhold or delay payments where reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, chargebacks, legal restrictions, or violations.
Creators are responsible for their own tax obligations unless applicable law requires live. to withhold or report amounts.
17. Purchases and Refunds
Purchases may be processed through Apple, Google, payment processors, or other authorized providers.
Refunds may be subject to the rules of the applicable app store, payment provider, and applicable law.
live. does not override mandatory consumer rights.
18. No Guarantee of Continuous Service
live. is provided on an "as available" basis.
We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue features.
We do not guarantee that live. will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from harmful third-party content.
19. Account Suspension and Termination
live. may suspend or terminate an account where we reasonably believe that the user:
- violated these Terms;
- violated the Community Guidelines;
- committed fraud;
- endangered other users;
- violated applicable law;
- repeatedly infringed intellectual-property rights;
- attempted to evade moderation;
- abused another user; or
- created a material risk to live. or its users.
20. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, live. and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the Service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
21. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify live. against claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your unlawful use of live., your violation of these Terms, your violation of another person's rights, or content you broadcast through live..
22. Changes
live. may update these Terms.
Where required by law, we will provide appropriate notice of material changes.
Your continued use of live. after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
23. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, subject to mandatory consumer protections and other laws that cannot legally be excluded.
You and live. submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa, without limiting any non-excludable rights you have in your country of residence.
